Yarns
Since the end of 2023, we have a new partnership with the fibre mill Custom Woolen Mills in Alberta. They are processing our fleeces into beautiful rovings and yarns using their antique woolen carding and spinning machines.
The Rambouillet wool used in our different blends comes from Albertan farms. (Rambouillet is a close relative to Merino, a very fine and soft fibre wearable directly against your skin).
Thanks to the woolen spinning process and the high quality of their blends, these various yarns are exceptionally soft, extra warm, insulating, cosy and incredibly light, bouncy and fluffy. They blur delicately colours, stitches because of the blooming of the fibres.
They are ideal for lightweight garments and accessories like fine sweaters, vests, socks, mitts, gloves, hats or afghans.
